Tesito Art Gallery is an online showcase for original artworks by Gambian artists. By browsing the site, creating an account, or submitting an artwork, you agree to these terms.
By submitting an artwork — whether as a registered artist or through the "Submit Artwork You Own" form — you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you have the right to submit it (as the artist, the current owner, or someone otherwise authorized). Public submissions are reviewed by our gallery team before they appear on the site; we may decline to publish a submission at our discretion, including if we can't verify the information given.
Artists retain full ownership of and credit for their work. Listing a piece on Tesito is not a sale, transfer of ownership, or exclusive agreement with the gallery.
Artist, manager and admin accounts are created by the gallery team. You're responsible for keeping your login details private and for anything done through your account. Contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
The "Inquire about this piece" and contact forms connect interested buyers with the gallery team; Tesito does not process payments or act as an escrow for artwork sales. Any purchase, price, or delivery arrangement is between the buyer and the artist or current owner, and Tesito is not a party to that transaction.
Don't use Tesito to submit content you don't have the rights to, to impersonate another artist or person, or to attempt to disrupt or compromise the site (including automated scraping, password-guessing, or uploading anything other than genuine artwork images).
Artists and submitters retain ownership of the images and descriptions they provide. By submitting content, you grant Tesito a license to display it on the site (and in reasonable promotion of the site and its artists) for as long as the listing remains published.
We may update these terms or the site's features from time to time. Continued use of Tesito after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@tesito.art or via the contact page.
