Welcome to Tesito

A home for Gambian art — and the artists who make it.

If this is your first visit, hello, and welcome. Tesito is an online art gallery based in The Gambia. Artists show their original work here, collectors discover it, and every single piece carries the name of the person who made it.

So, what exactly is Tesito?

Think of us as a gallery that never closes. We bring together painters, sculptors and other visual artists from across The Gambia in one place, so anyone in the world can look at their work, learn who they are, and get in touch about a piece they love.

An online gallery

Original paintings, sculptures and more, gathered in one place and open to visit any time.

Rooted in The Gambia

We work from Kasoto and with artists across the country, from Kanifing to Brikama and beyond.

Artists, always credited

No anonymous art. Every artwork page shows exactly who made it.

For artists

Show your work to the world, on your terms.

Talented artists across The Gambia have the skill, but not always the audience. Tesito gives you a professional home to be seen, without losing your name, your control or your connection to the people who admire your work.

Artist accounts are set up by our gallery team. Just get in touch and we'll help you get started.

For collectors

Find something real, and know exactly who made it.

Whether you're buying your first piece or adding to a collection, Tesito makes it simple to discover authentic Gambian art and connect straight to the source.

Our goal

To put Gambian art in front of more people, without ever taking the artist's name off the work.

Credit, always

Behind every piece is a person. Their name stays on their work, everywhere it appears.

Original work only

Authentic, unique pieces with real cultural depth, straight from the studio.

Reach without the barriers

A painter in Kanifing or a sculptor in Brikama shouldn't need a big-city gallery to be seen.
