What we collect

Tesito Art Gallery ("Tesito", "we", "us") collects the information people give us directly through the site:

• Artist accounts: name, username, email, phone, bio, specialty and social links, plus a profile photo if uploaded.
• "Submit Artwork You Own" form: the submitter's name, email, phone number (optional) and location (optional), along with details of the artwork itself.
• Artwork inquiries and the contact form: the sender's name, email and message.
• Account security: we log failed login attempts (identifier and IP address) purely to detect and block password-guessing — see "Login security" below.

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels. The only cookie set is the standard PHP session cookie needed to keep you logged in.

Why we collect it

We use this information to: run artist and staff accounts; review and publish artwork submissions; route inquiries and contact messages to the gallery team; and keep the login system secure against automated attacks. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Who sees it

Names attached to published artworks (as the artist, or as a credited current owner) are shown publicly, since crediting people is core to what Tesito does. Email addresses, phone numbers and inquiry/contact messages are visible only to the gallery's admin and manager accounts, and are used solely to respond to the person who submitted them.

Login security

To stop automated password-guessing against accounts, we temporarily record failed login attempts (the identifier tried and the IP address) and lock out further attempts after several failures in a short window. These records are used only for this purpose.

How long we keep it

Account information is kept for as long as the account is active. Inquiry and contact messages are kept so the gallery team has a record of past correspondence; you can ask us to delete a message you sent using the contact details below.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you — including removing your name as a credited artist or current owner from a public listing. Reach out via the contact page or hello@tesito.art.
